Once you’ve unboxed your Trezor wallet, go to using a secure internet connection. This webpage is the official starting point for setting up your device. It’s important to always use the official Trezor website to avoid phishing attacks or fraudulent websites.
Trezor Bridge is a software that allows your Trezor device to communicate with your computer. It is essential for the setup and use of your wallet. On the Trezor.io/Start page, you will find a link to download Trezor Bridge for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux). Download and install the software following the on-screen instructions.
After installing Trezor Bridge, connect your Trezor device to your computer using the USB cable provided. Your computer should recognize the device, and you’ll be prompted to either create a new wallet or recover an existing one. For this guide, we’ll walk through creating a new wallet.
